Dard AI ("we," "us," or "our") is a digital health wellness platform operated by Manjeet Singh, based in San Jose, California. Our platform is accessible at dard-ai.vercel.app.

We build AI-powered tools to help individuals understand chronic condition symptoms and assess flare risk through our proprietary Dynamic Flare Risk Scoring (DFRS) algorithm.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information You Provide

• Symptom inputs: Pain levels, symptom descriptions, triggers, activity data entered into our assessment tools
• Condition type: The chronic condition category you self-select (e.g., fibromyalgia, RA, IBD)
• Assessment responses: Answers to our DFRS questionnaire

2b. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration
• Device data: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution
• IP address: Used for analytics and security only, not linked to health data
• Cookies: Session cookies for site functionality (see Section 7)

2c. What We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email, or contact information (unless voluntarily submitted)
• Government ID, insurance, or billing information
• Precise GPS location
• Identified medical records or clinical diagnoses

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your DFRS flare risk score and symptom analysis report
• To improve the accuracy of our DFRS algorithm through anonymized aggregate analysis
• To maintain and improve platform security and performance
• To comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Dard AI is hosted on Vercel. Symptom data you enter is processed in-session and is not permanently stored on our servers. Session data may be temporarily cached in your browser's local storage and is cleared when you close your session.

AI analysis is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. Inputs sent to this API are anonymized symptom data only — no identifying information is transmitted. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their data handling: anthropic.com/privacy.

We implement the following security measures:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• No persistent storage of health inputs on our servers
• Anonymized, non-identifiable data processing pipeline
• Regular security reviews of third-party dependencies

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process limited technical data:

• Vercel — Hosting and deployment platform (Privacy Policy)
• Anthropic Claude API — AI analysis engine (Privacy Policy)
• Google Fonts — Typography (Privacy Policy)

None of these services receive your identified health information.

6. HIPAA Compliance Status

Dard AI is currently a consumer wellness tool, not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. We design our data architecture to minimize PHI collection:

• No name or identity is linked to health inputs
• No data is shared with insurance companies or employers
• No clinical records are stored or transmitted
• All AI analysis uses anonymized symptom patterns, not identified patient data

As Dard AI expands into clinical partnerships, we will enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with covered entity partners and upgrade our compliance posture accordingly. Clinic partners will be notified prior to any change in data handling.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies necessary for site functionality:

• Essential cookies: Session management, user preferences (cookie consent status)
• Analytics cookies: Only with your consent — used to understand aggregate usage patterns

You can manage cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings. Refusing non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use Dard AI's core features.

8. Your Rights (California / CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

All outputs — including DFRS scores, symptom analysis, and condition suggestions — are for informational and wellness purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our platform evolves, particularly as we enter clinical partnerships. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, displaying a notice on the platform.
